About Me

Hi, my name is Brit. I am a 27 year old new mom and owner of Vixenly LLC. I’ve always been incredibly goal oriented and my biggest goal- which I’m sure is true for many other people as well- was always financial freedom. When I lived alone I found myself having to balance both a first and third shift job while also finding time to eat, sleep, and care for for myself and my two cats. It never made sense to me that we should have to spend a good portion of our lives working such long hours just to be able to have shelter and food while the companies we work for are able to afford to effortlessly expand and hire more employees to make them even more money. During the beginning of 2020 I finally had some spare time to be able to figure out how I was going to break the cycle. I had started an Etsy shop selling T-shirts and friendship bracelets. This obviously did not being in a ton of money but it was a good way to start out and get an idea of how e-commerce worked. I was still of course working regular jobs during this time as well. I am now a full-time mom and homemaker and the income I do make is solely from my online businesses. My husband does work a full time job as well and we are able to live comfortably with this system. It is a process but I’m working towards being able to be the sole-provider and allow him to quit working traditional jobs and embrace his own freelance desires. I wanted to start up a blog about this journey because I wanted people to be able to see a more realistic experience from a type of person they’re probably not used to seeing run a blog about these things. I think it’s important to show that you don’t need to look or dress or even act a certain way in order to be successful. I also want to stress the fact that any level of genuine success is going to take some time and effort, and though I may often share my opinions and recommendations of products or services I have also learned the hard way that nothing you spend your money on is going to be guaranteed to make you your money back. It’s mainly about how you use the resources you have and the research you put into finding what works best for you. I’m hoping I can help even at least one person gain the confidence and the drive to pursue the life they want without fear of failure. The hardest and yet most crucial part is honestly just to start. Stop holding yourself back. There’s room for all of us to grow and succeed.
